On the night before the national holiday of Midsummer, the creative team celebrates the end of their work. However, after a party, the body of host Michelle Karlsson is found in a mobile television studio. The star's death causes significant public outcry. Reporter Annika Bengtzon is assigned to cover the investigation. As she delves into the details, Annika discovers that her close friend was at the castle on the night of the murder and is the prime suspect. The journalist must uncover which of the thirteen individuals present is the true culprit.
